WARDOGS shows a running profit and loss figure under your name in the Steam friends list. Squadbook reads that line while you play, keeps a live card in Discord for the whole squad, and records what every session and every day came to.
Nothing to install. No overlay, no mod, nothing that touches the game.
Setup
Link Steam, accept one invite
- A server admin runs
/config steamonce to pick the channel for session cards. - Each player runs
/steam linkwith their Steam profile link. - The Squadbook Companion account sends a Steam friend invite. Accept it.
- Play WARDOGS. The live card appears on its own.
The account never sends messages, links, or trade offers. Remove it from your friends list any time and tracking stops at once.
How the number works
Every match banked, the night added up
The figure in WARDOGS is a running total for the match you are in. It moves in chunks: kills, building, medical work, the cost of a loadout, a match payout. When the next match starts the game sets it back to zero, so Squadbook banks what each match came to and adds them up. A session reads as what tonight made or lost.
Steam sends the line to your friends the moment it changes, and Squadbook Companion is one of your friends, so the card follows it within seconds.

Three views of the same money

WARDOGS is the only Steam game Squadbook follows right now, so nothing else you play is recorded or posted. The same Steam link also shows who is playing what with /steam now, and finds games everyone owns with /steam common.
